Stepping out of the summer season, there’s always that sigh of relief thinking the craziness is winding down… but nope, the wedding season just keeps rolling and beautifully, it’s still buzzing! 💫

March was packed with wedding planning, upcoming styled shoots, travel plans, helicopter flights, rescheduling elopements and writing ceremonies. 11 ceremonies this month in total, each uniquely crafted to reflect every couple’s love story 💍✨

I’ve also had exciting conversations with vendors, both local and international, paving the way for some amazing collaborations and growth in the months ahead! 🌍🌟

From elopements and large weddings to those intimate micro weddings that are quickly becoming favorites, I truly love the variety of work I get to do. If I’m not at weddings, I’m always still creating and growing eco flowers for use in events and weddings. Yesterday was quite the elopement adventure! I headed to @reesvalleyweddings in Glenorchy. Even in the rain the view was breathtaking, with the wedding platform perfectly positioned to overlook the endless valley, creating a truly romantic, moody scene.

The elopement itself was incredibly special—intimate, and meaningful. It was all planned by Jake as a surprise for Mary, making it even more touching.

On the way back through rising rivers and rugged 4WD tracks. We passed the set for Brad Pitt’s new movie being filmed right here in New Zealand, but no sign of Brad himself. I had carpooled with the witness, whose car began losing power on the way there, despite the issues, we made it there just fine.

The return trip, however, became a challenge. On the narrow, windy road, the car lost all power and came to a complete stop mid-hill!! The witness; Nicola was shaken, so I took the reins.

Several vehicles passed, including a coach, but one small hire car stopped—out stepped Jake, the groom, still in his wedding suit, on his way to his dinner in Queenstown 🥹 We kept struggling to move the car out of the way when two angel men stopped. One of them took charge and carefully reversed the car to a safer spot.

While pushing the car uphill, I called out to a driver in a ute if he could tow us. Although it wasn’t possible, he offered us a lift into town. We squeezed into the front seat, his ute being chocka, he had been working on the movie set and shared how Brad Pitt had completed a 13-minute set in one take! 👏🏼

After what turned into an eight-hour day, I finally made it home. An elopement that turned into a true adventure—full of unexpected twists, helpful strangers and a memorable experience! So much love for everyone that helped, especially Jake who could have just driven on past, it was his wedding day after all! 🫶🏼

Just a small reminder, there are so many wonderful people in the world ❤️

When Paul @gingerbeardweddings asked me if I had flown a drone before, the answer was no!

When he asked me if I wanted to fly one, my immediate reaction was yes! Then I remembered we were on top of a mountain, overlooking a lake and the newly weds were just below us.

He told me it was just like a game console… that’s all well and good IF you’re a gamer!! 😬 Does Sega count back in the 90s? We were so committed to getting the footage that Paul handed me the controls and away I went.

I can’t wait to show you the wedding footage and photos. This day was incredible for so many reasons!

When I first spoke with Shanolin on our call, I knew immediately that I wanted to plan his and Renee’s intimate wedding in the stunning mountains of New Zealand @lostinlove.nz . My journey as a Wedding and Event Planner actually began in a 5-star Indian restaurant and event space, and my very first destination wedding took me to Delhi, India 🇮🇳 Growing up in such a multicultural city, surrounded by the celebrations, cuisine and colour of Indian traditions, it’s a culture that will always hold a special place in my heart.

For Shanolin and Renee’s special day, they flew their guests in a helicopter to Cecil Peak in Queenstown for a breathtaking ceremony overlooking Lake Wakatipu, with the mountains surrounding them. From there, they took a helicopter to Lake Erskine, where Renee’s red and gold bridal Lehenga beautifully contrasted against the aqua blue waters – a truly magical moment ✨

Every wedding is so unique, and that’s what makes what I do so special. It’s so important to me that your wedding doesn’t just follow a trend but truly reflects who you are as a couple. When I first spoke with Shanolin on our call, I knew immediately that I wanted to plan his and Renee’s intimate wedding in the stunning mountains of New Zealand @lostinlove.nz . My journey as a Wedding and Event Planner actually began in a 5-star Indian restaurant and event space, and my very first destination wedding took me to Delhi, India 🇮🇳 Growing up in such a multicultural city, surrounded by the celebrations, cuisine and colour of Indian traditions, it’s a culture that will always hold a special place in my heart.

For Shanolin and Renee’s special day, they flew their guests in a helicopter to Cecil Peak in Queenstown for a breathtaking ceremony overlooking Lake Wakatipu, with the mountains surrounding them. From there, they took a helicopter to Lake Erskine, where Renee’s red and gold bridal Lehenga beautifully contrasted against the aqua blue waters – a truly magical moment ✨

Every wedding is so unique, and that’s what makes what I do so special. It’s so important to me that your wedding doesn’t just follow a trend but truly reflects who you are as a couple. February might be the shortest month, but jeepers it’s definitely the busiest!

Here in New Zealand, we’re soaking up the last bit of summer before March brings in autumn. The summer season flew by, and while I love autumn, I’m definitely not ready for winter just yet! ❄️ I’m super excited to head to the Northern Hemisphere again this year and connect with even more amazing people. My ultimate dream one day is to be able to split my time between my two earth homes – NZ & UK/Europe.

February has been nothing short of amazing – so many beautiful weddings, elopements, MC gigs, reception parties, styling, planning, and of course, meeting incredible couples while working alongside my wedding vendor family that keeps expanding! 🫶🏼

I’m beyond grateful that I get to chase my dreams and grow, all while watching my four-year-old shine. She’s still teaching me French (we’re both learning!) and I’m always scheming my lifelong hopes and aspirations. I wouldn’t recommend this lifestyle for everyone, but for me, right now, it’s just perfect. Love you all! 💖

Whirlwind 12 hours ❤️‍🔥

Started the day with daycare drop off and a drive over to @cardronahotel for a wedding planning meeting – discussing everything from styling, the MC timeline and running through the wedding rehearsal. After that, I zipped back through the Crown Range (just New Zealand’s highest alpine pass) to meet with @katecraigbrown_photography about future elopement planning.

Next stop, Lake Hayes – a beautiful location for an intimate ceremony with Kyle & Shannon @lostinlove.nz These two travelled all the way from Perth, Australia, with their guests. The morning sky started to cloud over, and while Kyle had to shoo away some geese🪿 and block the wind for his new bride, that moody backdrop will make for incredible photos!

After the ceremony, the couple headed to @deerparkheights while their guests warmed up. I made my way into Queenstown to @altitudebrewing to catch up with @gingerbeardweddings – an exciting chat about potential UK collaborations 🇬🇧🍻

Finally, home at 9pm to find my baby girl tucked into bed and cold dinner waiting for me on the table. Love you @adam_garden! It was a long day, but so fulfilling. Grateful for the work I do, the couples I meet, and the experiences that make each day unique 💕

I consider myself incredibly lucky to call two beautiful places home—the UK and New Zealand 🌍

As someone who’s lived away from the place that raised me, for many years now, I know firsthand how both a blessing and a challenge it can be to live so far from where your heart feels at home. It’s a special kind of connection you have to your roots, and sometimes, it’s hard to carry that distance.

Looking back, my younger self would be amazed to see me now—living 19,000km away, married to a Kiwi, raising my daughter across the globe, and building my wedding planning business. But even with all the incredible moments, it can still feel tough at times.

That’s why I truly value living in a part of the world where people from all over the globe come to get married. Many of the couples I’ve been blessed to work have brought pieces of their culture, traditions and themselves into their weddings and elopements—something I’m always so passionate about supporting.

Then there are couples like Sarah and Andrew, who traveled all the way from the UK to experience a once-in-a-lifetime adventure elopement here in Queenstown, New Zealand. Their married journey began with a beautiful helicopter ride to a mountaintop, just as my business journey began with a love for travel and exploration. It’s a joy to share such adventures with couples from all over the world, whether near or far. ✈️

While this page is mostly about weddings (after all, that’s mainly what I do!), it’s also a space where you can get to know me, celebrate connections, and appreciate the beauty of the world and the incredible people in it! 💡It may have something to do with thriving in front-facing roles, interacting directly with people—it’s essential for me to work with people because that’s my happy place 🫶🏼 Many of my roles, in the UK and New Zealand, have involved large-scale events—exhibitions, Diwali, Pride, corporate events, weddings, parties, and tourism famils.

💡Maybe, it’s because I studied Interior Design at university, Art & Design at college, and one of my first jobs was in a bustling, fast-paced florist 💐

💡Definitely a lot to do with the fact I’ve traveled, mostly as a solo traveler and I build easy connections with people from all walks of life. I’m open to everyone 🌏 I want to hear your story—not just your love story—but everything that makes you, you. I seek to learn from others, and I enjoy conversations that take me outside my own bubble.

💡Before I became a celebrant, I boosted my confidence through a professional public speaking course, worked as a Ghostwriter for a time—asking deep, meaningful questions and wrote a book for a family based on one individual’s life 🎤✍🏼

💡The last push I needed to start my own wedding business was spending years as a Wedding & Events Manager, creating bespoke wedding and elopement packages, and elevating the sales and experience for a 4.5-star resort.

Yes, I love weddings but it’s not just about weddings—I’m passionate about progress, celebrations, sustainability, people and the every day!

Yes, I love love, of any kind, but it’s not just about love—it’s about passion, drive, art and joy.

From Australia to New Zealand, they eloped in the most magical way. Their love for each other is strong and clear and every detail of their elopement — from Kate’s white and rust-toned bouquet to her stunning auburn hair — was on point.

The connection they share is something truly special. So much so, that during their ceremony, Kate paused because she knew Ben, a passionate pilot, would be wanting to identify the plane flying overhead. It was those little moments that show just how well they respect and understand each other. ✈️💕

A & T flew from North Carolina, USA to spend nine days in Queenstown, with the expectation of a heli landing in Wānaka 🏔️

They chose to stay in this beautiful town, and I understand why!

On the morning of their elopement, they had their ‘first look’ overlooking Lake Wakatipu on the rooftop @heritage_hotels

They ended their evening with fine food at Botswana Butchery.
