Hello, I’m Ellita, Ellie for short. It’s a true privilege to be considered as your celebrant.
My approach is grounded in connection, energy and genuine care. I create ceremonies that feel relaxed, meaningful and entirely reflective of you. Never scripted, never rigid, and always deeply personal.
On the day, I’m there not just to guide the ceremony, but to help you feel at ease, present and completely yourselves, delivering a moment that feels natural, heartfelt and beautifully considered.
I’ve been in the wedding and events industry for over ten years, becoming a wedding celebrant back in 2018. I aim for your ceremony to be as unique as your love story. I craft each ceremony based entirely on your vibe, your journey and how you want your day to feel.

Originally from the UK, I moved to New Zealand 15 years ago and ended up marrying a wonderful Kiwi man. Travel is a huge part of who I am, and I love journeying back to the UK as well as over Europe and Australia to be part of weddings.
I studied Interior Design at University and attended a public speaking course before becoming a wedding celebrant. I've been planning weddings for over 10 years and can't think of a better role!
I’m a lover of neutrals with a pop of colour. I am an active relaxer (in other words, I'm always on the go). I have so much energy, I don’t even drink coffee! I’ve bungee jumped four times, skydived seven times but have since calmed down since becoming a mother.
I live by the mantra “less is more”, I'm a minimalist and when it comes to design and weddings, quite the [insane] perfectionist.
I will forever be a French language student, have travelled to 24 countries and my upcoming weddings are in NZ, Turkey, the UK, South Korea and India.
